Pretty vague flyer. Sounds like 2 hours on the track? Or does it send us out a little ways? Length of loop?

track info, the race is on the track the whole time, had limited space on the flyer, we are going to use every acre of the facility that we can and come up with 2-3 mile course. we will put in some obstacles to break it up, and then try to get a pee wee course within all of that and make everybody happy. enjoy

Question for the small bikes.

Can a 65cc compete with the Mini's? Or are they only allowed in the first wave/race with the Peewees? My son is 10 and rides a 65cc bike. Looking for what options we have for racing this weekend.

Will there be practice time for the Pee Wees?

Finally, is the Pee Wee race a 30 minute or 45 minute race?

Thank you for any additional details you can provide.

Did I read this correctly, only a 2-3 mile course?  Last year it was about 6-7, what happen?

yes the track will be watered. as for the 65 cc question depending on class of rider, he/she will ride in the 10.30 start line with all the other 65 cc bikes but check the rules and sign up accordingly per rider experience. go to the rules section to get the proper lettering and back round color also. we will run them 30 minutes. no practice for them as they will be running first class of the day     yes you read the flyer correctly 2-3 mile course. we moved to a new location and only have so much property to work with, again, read the flyer on location so come on out and have some fun

herring;

Thank you for your reply. According to the flyer, all Mini's (aka 65cc) will start at 11:30 and go for 1:15. That is not a problem, but I don't want to read it incorrectly and miss out on the race if we show up at 10:30 since there is no practice for the little bikes including the 65cc Mini class.

Any additional clarification would be great.

Thank you.

Scott,

Our 65 novices race with the peewee class. Our 65 amatuers/experts race with the mini class. At most races the peewees race approximately 1 -2 miles and the minis will race 15 to 20 mile loops. So, there is a large jump from a 65 novice to a 65 amatuer. If your child hasn't raced before he may want to start in the 65 novice class but you can talk to the Saturday referee at the race. If you have him race the 65 am/expert class at this race and he decides to come race some of the desert races in the fall please realize that he will be racing the longer and more difficult courses! If you need more info please feel free to give me a call.

Thanks, Beth
