Jd Richardson and Jesse Richardson are the same person. So the points should be on one line as either Jesse Richardson or Jd. It might be because my wife signed him up as Jesse and I signed him up as Jd. Just an fyi

Great lesson learned for the Pee Wee 6 and under kids! I guess it is to your advantage to cut course and still get the win! The officiating on the Pee Wee race this round was horrible.

I see your kid also has 2 different numbers.  Is he running 147z or 707z?

Brian, as far as the pee wee results are concerned, no one came to the club and protested the results.  As for the points given for that race they are very comparable to all the kids previous finishes.  Hope this helps.

Several parents protested this immediately after the race to the club. Also, myself and one other had a good half hour discussion with the WSRA president after the MRANN meeting last Tuesday on the subject. So the WSRA president is aware of the results being protested.

As far as the results being comparable to other races. There has never been a pee wee putting two full laps on the rest of the field. There where others, including a parent going to the scoring booth to have a lap taken off of his sons results.

I apologize if I came across rude in my first post. But it is very frustrating to see a rider cut half of the loop off twice, possibly three times and be rewarded a win. I am sure he did not do this on purpose, but fair is fair. This was not just cutting a corner short, but half of the course.

I understand your frustration and it is the clubs discretion to change the results or not (unless someone pays $ to protest).

Also, with the riders being scored only with other riders in their class the points turned out fair.  But I see where you are coming from with the overall results.

He is running the 707z. The trailblazers race was his first race and I was talking w Keith and he said that we could change it. I'm not really counting points but I I still would like to see his progress. Thanks

To Brianx1:

I find it extremely offensive that you, an adult?, would accuse a child of cutting a course.  He is 6 years old, he doesn't know what cutting a course is. Our daughter finished 2nd over all and she was a lap behind him...did she cut the course, according to you, too? If he had cut the course, his dad would of marched his butt right over to the official booth and told them right then and there. We've got more people out there watching our kids then just us, and they would of told us also.

It is possible for a pee wee to overall a race when the first three rows at the start take off the wrong way. He had at least 2, possibly 3, laps in before they returned to the correct course.

He raced today and lapped the entire pee wee class, taking home first place. He's a good rider, he listened at the riders meeting and followed the course.  He finished where he finished. Let it go.

THE END

To Miller6:

You obviously did not read above that I said I know your son did not cut course on purpose. But rules are rules and fair is fair.

I am not the only one that saw your son go down the main road twice and cut out the wash section. Several others saw this happen. His father was notified at the end of the race.

He rode great this past Saturday and you should be proud of his results. But this past Saturdays race is not the race in question.
